SMU Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity suspended
DALLAS - The Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at Southern Methodist University has been suspended.
The national organization shut down the fraternity for at least five years because of health and safety issues.
An SMU spokeswoman said the university received no reports of illegal activity or misconduct.
The chapter had about 100 members.
