Security guards shot outside Fort Worth club

FORT WORTH, Texas - Two security guards were shot outside a club in Fort Worth early Monday morning.

The guards were at the Silver Horse Saloon on Lancaster Avenue near Beach Street.

Police said they confronted two men who had caused trouble earlier as they were trying to re-enter the club.

At least one of the men pulled out a gun and shot one guard in the neck. The other was shot in the leg.

The guard who was shot in the neck was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. He is reportedly in his 70s.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
