Three runaway robbery suspects put Dallas Skyline High School in Pleasant Grove on lockdown Wednesday afternoon.

The suspects ran onto campus while class was in session. Video posted to Twitter showed one of them being handcuffed inside a classroom full of students.

Police received a call about a robbery at a house in the 7100 block of Grey Dawn Lane around 1:45 p.m. An electrician says he was at the home installing lights. He said he went to his truck to get more tools when he was robbed at gunpoint by three teenagers.

The three suspects then ran towards Skyline High School, prompting a lockdown. SWAT also responded to the school.

All of the suspects were taken into custody around 3:30 p.m. Images from SKY4 captured officers taking the suspects away in handcuffs. DISD confirms two of the three suspects were students.

It’s unclear what charges the suspects are facing. Their identities have not been released.

More than 5,000 students attend Dallas Skyline High School, DISD’s largest campus.
