Robbery and Chase Suspects Crash in Dallas

Police Chase from Ennis Ends with a Crash in Dallas

Police are searching for two people accused in a Saturday morning robbery and police chase.

Officers say they, along with a third suspect, robbed the Pawn Store & More in Ennis. At least one of the suspects was armed. They reportedly left the scene in a tan Chevy Impala.

Just moments after the robbery, Ennis police officers spotted the Impala and tried to pull over the suspects, but the driver refused. A chase lasted for 35 miles, until the suspect vehicle crashed at U.S. Highway 75 near Bryan St. in Dallas. All three suspects tried to run from police officers. One of them was captured. Two others were able to escape.

Police officers seized weapons from the vehicle and arrested one man. So far, police have not released suspect descriptions.

No one was injured in the robbery or crash.
