Most of North Texas is at or above freezing. Light showers continue with freezing rain to the west.
Lots of moisture covered North Texas Thursday morning, which, on one hand, we need, but on the other hand, it's also bringing ice.
The best chances for ice (less than a quarter of an inch) will be to the west and southwest of the Metroplex Thursday.
The Metroplex itself will have spotty icy spots, but predominantly just rain. Areas south and east of the city will see only a cold hard rain.
Rain/wintry mix continues all the way through Thursday evening, through Friday (only cold rain) and through Saturday morning before we finally clear things out.
Temps will be in the low and mid 30s Thursday, upper 30s and low 40s Friday, and 50s by Saturday.
