Dallas police are stepping up patrols around several schools hoping to catch a man who allegedly exposed himself to multiple children and sexually assaulted one.

There have been at least four separate incidents between Nov. 17 of last year and Nov. 7 of this year. They all happened near schools in northwest Dallas, specifically Medrano Middle School and Burnet Elementary School.

In three of the four cases the suspect exposed himself to students who were either walking to or from school. In the fourth case he approached a girl who was playing outside the Spanish Creek Apartments on Chapel Creek and rubbed her breast and genitals.

Police said they are looking for a Hispanic man in his late 20s who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. Several victims saw him flee on foot. He may also be in an older model silver Chevy Malibu or an older model gold pickup truck, police said.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call 911 or Det. Lawler at 214-671-4453.
