Police looking for 2 drivers in deadly hit-and-run

Authorities are looking for two drivers who hit a pedestrian and killed him.

It happened just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 25 in the 5200 block of Mansfield Highway.

Investigators say the passenger side mirror of an early 2000s-model Chevy or GMC full-sized truck or SUV hit Paul Williams as he was walking, and the driver took off.

A second car, a silver-colored Chrysler 300 then hit the victim a second time and also took off.

"What we're hoping is that somebody will remember somebody that they know, whether it be a loved one or a neighbor or just somebody they know, maybe an associate at work, that had similar type damage on a vehicle matching this description on the pickup," said Capt. Jerry Cosby with the Forest Hills Police Department.

First responders performed CPR, but Williams died at the scene.
