Police investigating suspicious death in North Richland Hills

North Richland Hills police are investigating the death of a person who appears to be the victim of foul play.

The victim’s body was found early Wednesday morning inside an apartment in the 6200 block of Glenview Drive.

Police said they got two separate requests for a welfare check on a person who lives at the Waterford on the Green Apartments. Responding officers found the victim’s front door closed, but unlocked.

No information about the victim’s gender or age was released.

The department didn’t go so far to call the case a murder, but said the victim’s potential cause and manner of death are suspicious.

Police do not believe it was a random act of violence.
