At approximately 11 a.m., Kaufman police received a call from a local Country Corner convenience store about a theft.

The theft suspect was driving a red Mack semi-truck towing a flatbed trailer.

The complainant followed the suspect vehicle until law enforcement was able to get to their location.

Officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over and a slow pursuit ensued.
