Police chase carjacking suspects through Dallas

Four suspects were arrested and one is still on the run after a carjacking in northwest Dallas.

The carjacking happened early Friday morning in parking lot of a strip club on Harry Hines Boulevard. One of the robbers drove off in the stolen red Dodge Challenger and four others followed in a white Dodge Charger.

Police spotted the cars and tried to pull the suspects over. The red car stopped and the driver was quickly arrested.

Police also chased the white car into south Dallas. The suspect jumped out of the car near the intersection of Lenway and Edgewood streets and tried to flee on foot.

Officers caught three people who were in that vehicle, but one suspect got away and remains at large.

The suspects will all face aggravated robbery charges and some could be charged for fleeing.

Police recovered at least one handgun.
