PLANO, Texas - Police say they have recovered the body of a Plano mother who went missing on Wednesday.
Plano PD says they found the body of Elizabeth Michelle Davis Thursday afternoon near Ohio and PGBT. It was about a mile away form where she was last seen Wednesday afternoon near the George Bush Tollway and Preston Road. The young mother apparently drove her car off the road into a wooded area and ran away, according to her husband.
Yesterday, my wife Libby—dealing with some apparently severe depression & anxiety— drove her car off the side of the road in Plano and fled on foot. She’s now been missing 16 hours. Plano PD worked with DPS Wednesday night to search for her, but did not find anyone. Late Thursday afternoon, they confirmed they found her body near the crash site.

Davis’ husband says she had severe depression and anxiety. She was last seen in black gym shorts and a black tank.
A cause of death has not been released. Police say foul play is not suspected.
