Parts of North Texas see flash flooding

Neighborhoods in Fort Worth and Denton are cleaning up from flash flooding and the rain is still coming down in Collin County.

Sarah Huffstetler captured video in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth, near Hulen Street and Interstate 30.

Several streets in that neighborhood flooded.

The floodwater was so strong in some areas it damaged the pavement and there were cars stranded on Hulen Street and around the TCU campus.

According to the National Weather Service, Fort Worth received about 2 inches of rain. A flash flood warning continues for some parts of North Texas.

FOX 4 Meteorologist Evan Andrews said the rainy conditions could linger throughout the week with some severe weather possible in the evenings.
