One person injured in Dallas house fire
DALLAS, Texas - A man was hurt in a house fire in Dallas Wednesday morning.
The fire started around 3 a.m. in the 6000 block of Verde Way, which is in a neighborhood near Jefferson Boulevard and Loop 12 in southwest Dallas.
By the time firefighters arrived everyone was already outside the one-story home. One man suffered burns and was taken to Parkland Hospital’s burn unit. It’s not clear how serious his injuries are.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. It completely destroyed the home.
