Oak Cliff restaurant owner offering pizza reward following break-in

A thief is targeting the Bishops Arts District in Oak Cliff, striking twice recently in two days.

He hit Lockhart Smokehouse at 4 a.m. Tuesday, and then Zoli's NY Pizza Tavern around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect was caught on camera breaking through the glass at Lockhart and going right for a mounted TV.

He has a tough time, but eventually rips it off the wall, drops it, then picks it up and walks out.

During the Zoli's break-in, surveillance video shows him wandering around before eventually stealing a TV from a wall and using a screwdriver to pry open a cash register.

After finding the register empty, the suspect takes off.

While other businesses are pitching in for a cash reward to help catch a suspect, Zoli's is offering food. Anyone that helps find the suspect will get a big meal, which includes a 14-inch pizza, zucchini fries and garlic knots.

The video from the Zoli's break-in is now posted to Facebook and has reached more than 43,000 people.

Few details are known about the suspect. He was seen wearing a raincoat in surveillance video, and the video from Lockhart caught his getaway car. It's believed to be an older model black Ford pickup truck with a stripe at the bottom.
