Instead of spending Thanksgiving around a dinner table, hundreds of North Texans spent the day in long lines hoping to get that one big ticket item.
Several stores opened up early for pre-Black Friday shopping.
At the Best Buy in Flower Mound, the line to get in right at 5 p.m. wrapped around the building.
At the store in Hurst, one shopper said he slept outside the store overnight. Another engaged couple said they were in line because they’re planning for their new house.
So what about those deals? FOX 4’s Steve Noviello said there are some good ones if you know where to look. But lots of people will opt to shop online instead of waiting in lines this year.
