North Texas hit with 10 tornadoes on Tuesday

The National Weather Service confirmed on Wednesday that there were 10 tornadoes in North Texas on Tuesday.

Three were EF1s and seven were EF0s.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado inflicted heavy damage to houses and apartment buildings in Runaway Bay, which is about 50 miles northwest of Fort Worth. Another EF1 hit Mineral Wells in Palo Pinto County.

Along with tornadoes, there were high winds, hail and flooding late Tuesday night, mostly in Palo Pinto, Ellis, Denton and Wise counties.
