Navarro County braces for more flooding

Navarro County residents and officials are bracing for more flash flooding after going through a flash flood emergency last week.

Emergency crews have told people to stay off the roads if they can since the ground in Navarro County can't hold any more water. Officials said they are watching the radar that's bringing heavy rain into back into the county.

Parts of Navarro County were saturated with up to 30 inches of rain last weekend.

Dawson ISD southwest of Corsicana let students out at 1 p.m. so they could get home safe before the heavier rains arrived.

Halloween activities in downtown Corsicana have also been cancelled, including the Trick or Treat walk.
