Murder-suicide reported in Grand Prairie
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX - Grand Prairie police were called out to an apparent murder-suicide Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after noon, police said officers responded to a shooting call at the Terraces on the Parkway Apartments, near the 1000 block of N. Carrier Parkway. The caller said a man shot a woman, then himself, during a disturbance. Police said officers found two unconscious gunshot victims. Police said the male suspect was pronounced dead at Methodist Dallas and the female victim was pronounced dead at the
scene.
As of Sunday evening, police said they are still developing a timeline of events leading up to the murder-suicide and they are working to notify next of kin.
This is the fourth homicide of the year in Grand Prairie.
