Morning showers give way to afternoon clouds and chill

Rain this morning will slowly move out of the area from west to east as the morning rolls on. Most spots east of I-35 saw between a quarter and three-quarters of an inch of rain. Temps, for the most part, remained at or above freezing, sparing us from travel impacts.

This afternoon we'll see temps top out around 43° with clouds persisting until clearing begins out west. Areas that do see clearing will top out in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Tonight temps get back down to near 37° with increasing clouds but dry conditions. Winds will switch out from the SE to the N due to a frontal passage, but that won't impact our weather much aside from keeping us from warming up on Monday.

Speaking of Monday, it will be dry with temps reaching into the mid 40s.

Where's the warmth? We keep the chill around all week and FINALLY see temps back to near 60° by the weekend.
