Error leaves some students without earned credits

A serious error at a Dallas ISD high school may have left students without the college credits they rightfully earned.

Gilliam Collegiate Academy is designed to help students graduate with 60 college credits -- enough for an associate’s degree.

Through an open records request, FOX 4 discovered those credits didn't show up on many students transcripts this year or in their GPAs.

After we started asking questions, DISD admitted that an investigation is underway to determine how many students were affected.

DISD administrators would not grant us an interview about the problem.
