Missing Fort Worth woman's ex-boyfriend charged with kidnapping

- A missing woman's ex-boyfriend was arrested on a kidnapping charge even though she hasn’t been found.

Police say 25-year-old Typhenie Johnson was last seen Monday evening at the Post Oak East Apartments on Tristan Lane in northeast Fort Worth. Her friends told police they were immediately suspicious about her disappearance.

Police say Typhenie’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Revill, was the last person to see her and do suspect foul play.

Typhenie's twin brother, Asher, his girlfriend and another friend say they were inside the apartment as the ex-couple talked outside in the parking lot the night she disappeared.

“It had kind of escalated from a regular conversation and making Chris leave here because he was gathering up his stuff,” Asher recalled. “Chris had come back up, and I asked him where my sister went. And he said she jumped into another car.”

Asher said it was out of character for his sister to just leave without telling them. So he went downstairs to check on her.

“That's when I had seen his car backed in right back here with the trunk open,” he said.

Asher says Revill then took off in his white 2003 Ford. When he went closer to investigate, he found her sock and her cell phone. He also found Typhenie’s car keys on top of her car.

Police say they found women's clothing at Revill's mother’s house. When asked by police, Asher says it was the tank top Typhenie was wearing that night.

With all the evidence and witness statements, police were able to arrest Revill for Typhenie’s alleged kidnapping and are holding him on a $50,000 bond.

“We have substantial information basically on the initial crime scene of the apartment complex that would lead us and the detectives to believe that he was the last person around her at the time of her disappearance,” said Fort Worth Police Officer Jimmy Pollozani.

Officers continue to look for the missing 25-year old and hope anyone who may have seen Revill, his car, or Typhenie Monday night will call them.

“I can't sleep in my own bed knowing the fact that my sister is outside somewhere sleeping,” Asher said.

Friends and family spent Wednesday evening searching the area where Typhenie was last seen.

Revill has a criminal history. He's been arrested multiple times since 2007 for aggravated robbery, possession of marijuana, assault on a public servant and burglary.
