Mayfest re-opens Saturday morning

After having to close due to the weather on Friday, Mayfest was back open on Saturday.

The 1 mile, 5k and 10k runs went on, as scheduled Saturday morning in Fort Worth. About 2,000 people took part in the running events along the banks of the Trinity River, through Trinity Park.

The doors to Mayfest opened at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

Mayfest runs through May 1st.
