Man wanted for killing boss in Grand Prairie arrested in Louisiana

A man police say killed a Grand Prairie man on the Fourth of July turned himself in to deputies in Louisiana.

Jimmie Reynolds was taken into custody by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office near New Orleans Sunday.

Grand Prairie police said he shot and killed his boss, 57-year-old Carlos Aparicio, during an argument on July 4. Aparicio was found unconscious in a warehouse for the road construction trucking company.

The United States Marshals Service helped track Reynolds to Louisiana, where he has relatives.

He will be extradited back to Texas to face murder charges.
