The 18-year-old wanted for shooting and killing his 15-year-old girlfriend on Saturday has turned himself in and is being booked into the Tarrant County Jail. Sebastian Ramirez-Barcenas is charged with one count of criminally negligent homicide. His bond is set at $50,000.

Police say Ramirez-Barcenas fired a shotgun at Makayla Davis then ran off. Davis' 18-year-old brother and other family members were there when the shooting happened inside their trailer.

Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn says the 911 call came in around 4 p.m. He says Ramirez-Barcena might have been mishandling the shotgun in the home when it went off, shooting Davis in the torso.

Police spent hours searching the rural, wooded area in South Tarrant County, but did not find him.

He turned himself in the next day.
