Man pulled from car in Dallas high water rescue

A man got stuck in high water in northwest Dallas Monday morning and had to wait on the roof of his car for help.

The man was swept into a culvert area near Wildwood Drive and California Crossing Road, which is near the border of Dallas and Farmers Branch.

A rescue team carried a life jacket to the man and then pulled him to safety.

He appeared to be okay.
