Man pleads guilty to murder of store clerk

A Garland man was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a 7-11 clerk in 2014.

20-year-old Colten Moore was originally charged with "capital" murder for the shooting death of convenience store clerk Yosef Tulu.

Moore agreed to plead guilty to murder and received a life sentence.

He was also accused of shooting and wounding a clerk at a convenience store near the 7-11 and was indicted for a watch-store robbery at Firewheel Town Center.
