Man found dead in northeast Dallas neighborhood

DALLAS - Police are searching for a killer after a man was shot in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas.

Officers found a man dead in a front yard on Glen Regal Drive, which is in a neighborhood near the LBJ Freeway and Central Expressway, just before midnight Tuesday.

Police said they don’t have much to go on even though the victim was one of several men hanging out in front of the home.

Neighbors were the ones who called police when they heard gunfire. Everyone else fled before officers arrived.

Police are still trying to determine the motive for the shooting.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
