Man falls 30 feet into Dallas creek

A man is in serious condition after he was rescued from a creek in north Oak Cliff in Dallas.

It took the Dallas Urban Search and Rescue team over an hour to get the man out from the creek near the 600 block of Clarendon Drive. He fell 30 feet and the steep grassy bank was slick because of the overnight rain.

Once he was rescued, the man was taken to the hospital. He had several serious injuries from the fall.

Investigators are still trying to determine why he fell, whether it was related to alcohol or possibly a medical condition.
