The body of a Fort Worth man was recovered at Ray Roberts State Park in Pilot Point Monday.

The 38-year-old drowned around 4:30 p.m. while he was with his family in a designated swimming area.

Game wardens said he went under and never came back up. He was not wearing a life jacket.

The man’s body was found about two hours later in an area of Lake Ray Roberts that was 6 feet deep, game wardens said.
