It's tax-free weekend in Texas
DALLAS - Some parents in Texas consider the school year underway when tax-free weekend rolls around.
The sales tax holiday is already underway and lasts through midnight Sunday. Shoppers can purchase most clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies without paying tax.
The tax-free items can be bought in-store or online but those stores must do business in Texas.
