ICE! exhibit with Santa theme opens at Gaylord Texan

GRAPEVINE, Texas - The holiday season officially starts Thursday at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Hotel in Grapevine.

The hotel’s 4.5-acre indoor garden area was transformed into a whimsical wintery landscape for the annual Lone Star Christmas event.

There is a 54-foot tall Christmas tree decorated with 15,000 ornaments. Visitors will also see 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures and slides in the ICE! exhibit. The theme for this year’s exhibit is “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
