We will inch even higher today into the mid 90s. A very weak front will drop in (and die tonight) but keep the low chance for PM storms alive (mainly DFW and south).
The next few days may see slightly "less heat", but only by a degree or two. The humidity will make up for it!
By this weekend, Gulf moisture will be quite thick and enough lift will be present to produce showers/storms each afternoon. Coverage won't be huge...but enough that there will be a bunch out there, with Sunday having the highest coverage.
Next week, high pressure may build back in and shut the rain chances back down.
