For the second time this year, B.J. Lacasse has to wade out to her boat dock. Since moving to Lake Worth a year ago, Lacasse says they've experienced three floods, a tornado, a hurricane and a terrible ice storm, but this incident was more serious.
"It came up really fast this time. In a matter of hours instead of days."
Lacasse is a professional photographer and was taking time lapse photos Friday afternoon, when the water was about three feet below the dock. This morning it was almost underwater.
Many people who live around the lake say the water came up much faster than it did last spring.
Now, residents are also concerned that lakes upstream will begin releasing excess water that will only make their problem worse.
"If they start releasing we rise fast and we have to rely on mother nature to get it out of here" said Lacasse.
