Handcuffed suspect escapes from Cockrell Hill police

Cockrell Hill police are looking for a suspect who ran away from officers. It happened around 2:30 Saturday morning.

18-year old Fernando Mondragon was still in handcuffs when he ran out of the department's parking lot, police said.

There is a large search effort underway to find him. Dallas police,  including the K-9 unit and a police helicopter are assisting in the search.
