Ft. Worth neighbors hope surveillance video yields leads in car burglaries

A burglary spree in a North Fort Worth neighborhood is forcing homeowners to make some changes.

According to Fort Worth police records, six homeowners reported their vehicles burglarized.

Residents told FOX 4 that there were more like 20 cars broken into because many people are choosing not to file a report.

Police have surveillance video from one house and would like to talk to a person seen trying to open a truck door.

Many of the burglary victims here admit that their vehicles' doors were unlocked.

Fort Worth police say they have a detective assigned to the case and welcome any information about the person in the video.
