Hometown Hero: Megan Solis

Megan Solis thought she wanted to go into business or become a lawyer, but education claimed her heart.. The Richardson native attended Trinity Christian Academy from 4th grade to graduation. She loved her teachers at the Addison school and now she's one of them.

Megan is in her first year as a kindergarten teacher at TCA.  This Aggie has been a teacher for 7 years and she's over-joyed to be a teacher in the school that nurtured her.  She's looking forward to doing that for the current and future generations at this private Christian school.

Fran Legband is a 12th grade literature teacher at Trinity Christian Academy. She said when Megan was her student she was  a "sparkplug who loved learning and incorporating others in the learning process".

Megan says Mrs. Legband is one on the mentors who inspired her to become a teacher. A beautiful way to find your purpose in life and pay it forward.
