A water main break Sunday in Fort Worth will take days to repair.

The break on the 42-inch concrete pipe happened underneath I-30 in Fort Worth near Beach Street Sunday night.

Crews were able to shut the water off quickly and no customers are without water, but the break created a muddy mess on the scene.

"I can tell you we're not talking hours. We’re talking days,” said Mary Gugliuzza, a Fort Worth Water worker. “I just don’t know how many days we're talking at this point.”

A nearby church had a muddy parking lot from the break. No water went into the building.
