Fort Worth homes vandalized with anti-police graffiti

People in a Fort Worth neighborhood on Monday cleaned up vulgar anti-police comments spray painted on their homes and other property.

The vandalism occurred sometime late Saturday into Sunday morning.

Some of the writing appears to be gang signs but most is a vulgar anti-police slur directed at Fort Worth police.

Fernando Perez spent his morning scrubbing off the graffiti from his garage door, starting with the f-word. He noticed it as the garage door came down in front of him as he prepared to leave for church.

The writing was found at six different homes on garage doors, a fence, a window, a car and an RV.

Fort Worth police said they were investigating and it appeared to be the work of one person.

Police said none of the victims were connected to law enforcement. The residents who were affected also think these were just random acts.
