Fort Worth company installs new roof for WWII veteran

Fort Worth company put a roof over the head of a World War II veteran — free of charge.

A few times a year, Lon Smith Roofing installs a new roof for a local veteran in need who can't afford it. It's part of their Roof for Vets Program.

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price joined workers on Monday while they helped out Marine veteran Raymond Barton. The 95-year-old served in the Marine Corps in the Pacific during World War II.
