Former University of North Texas exchange student killed in Paris attacks
An exchange student who attended the University of North Texas in 2007 was among those killed in Friday’s Paris terror attacks.
François Xavier Prévost, who attended North Texas in fall 2007 according to the university, was killed at the Bataclan theater. The theater was the site of the deadliest attack Friday night, with terrorists holding the audience hostage and murdering many people until police raided the building.
“Our condolences go to his friends and family, and to all victims of terrorism everywhere,” UNT-International said in a Facebook post.
Authorities in Paris said 129 people were killed in the terror attacks, the deadliest in France since World War II.
