Fire engulfs Mesquite house
2-alarm fire damages Mesquite house.
Fire damaged a house in Mesquite late Tuesday night. Flames and thick white smoke appeared from the roof as firefighters sprayed water from the street.
The single-story house in the 2006 block of Hillview Drive near I-635 and U.S. 80. No one lived in the home and no firefighters were hurt.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
