A truck loaded with propane tanks crashed in Arlington, causing a big fire.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. on the northbound Interstate 20 ramp to southbound Highway 360. An 18-wheeler took the turn too fast and crashed under Bardin Bridge.

The truck was carrying about 1400 5-gallon propane tanks. It caught fire and all of the tanks exploded.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames, but TxDOT officials must now clean up the mess and check to make sure the bridge is structurally sound.

The ramp remains close, causing major traffic delays. Commuters are encouraged to avoid the area.

Fortunately, there truck’s driver was able to get away and no one was hurt.
