Extreme cold likely responsible for woman's death

- Dallas police are investigating the possible weather-related death of a woman in south Dallas early Monday morning.

The woman’s body was found around 1 a.m. in front of a commercial building in the 3300 block of Al Lipscomb Way.

Police said the woman appears to be homeless and they do not suspect foul play at this time. They suspect the extreme cold was responsible for her death because she did not have a coat on.

The medical examiner will determine her exact cause of death.
