Driver arrested after hitting fire truck
Dallas police arrested a drunk driver after they say he side swiped a fire engine.
It happened around 11:30 Saturday night on I-30 and Grand Avenue in Dallas.
The fire engine was protecting police who were clearing an accident, when it was struck by a Ford pickup.
The driver of the pickup slowed down, then attempted to drive off, but a fire official and officer went after the pickup.
The driver stopped a few miles later, and was given a field sobriety test, which he failed.
