DPD: Child predator is targeting teen girls

Dallas police are searching for a child predator who is targeting teenage girls, exposing himself while trying to grab them.

Police believe he is linked to three crimes in Oak Cliff.

The first took place back in May on Hutchins Street near Roosevelt High School. The second incident took place in October close to Kimball High School on Blue Ridge Drive, and the latest took place last week on Dec. 2 on the same street and block as the first.

"The suspect exited a vehicle at the location wearing only a shirt and chased the two victims while exposing his genitals,” said Maj. Midge Boyle with the Dallas Police Department.

Despite a discrepancy in the height range, police believe one man is responsible for all the attacks.

They say he's a black man between 5-foot-6 and 6 feet tall, between 25 and 30 years old with a light complexion and short beard. He’s believed to weigh around 200 pounds.

They believe he was driving a newer model four-door black vehicle; possibly a Honda Accord.

Police want the suspect, whom they consider a predator, off the street. Parents and students now aware of the suspect are on edge.
