We start with a line of storms weakening in as they approach from the west this AM. As they die out, the disturbance that created them will push into NTX midday-PM with renewed showers/storms (non-severe, but heavy rain). It will exit toward eve and it should remain dry for the festivals tonight.
Saturday may see a few isolated showers AM-midday but the balance of the day is rain free...windy...and very humid. Late day storms will erupt west/NW and may be severe and will expand during the eve-night as the head east.
Sunday morning, the storms should either be dying...or gone as new ones will form PM-eve-night...hence the flash flood watch.
We continue with scattered storms Mon-Tue although chances do go down by the middle of next week.
