DFW Airport tops 2015 list of passengers caught with guns

The TSA caught more people trying to bring guns on flights at DFW Airport than anywhere else in the nation.

The agency said 2015 saw a record number of airline passengers trying to bring guns in their carry-ons.

DFW Airport was No. 1 with 153 passengers caught with guns.

Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta took second with 144 passengers and 100 passengers were caught at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental.

Dallas Love Field was No. 8 on the list, with 57 passengers caught with guns.

In total, the TSA said more than 2,500 guns were found in passengers' bags and most of them were loaded. That's 20 percent more than in 2014.
