Dallas woman accused in illegal butt injection death in Missouri

A Dallas woman is accused of causing another woman’s death after an illegal cosmetic butt injection.

Police in Missouri say 22-year-old Daysha Phillips died this summer after being injected with a silicone substance. She died from a blood clot that made its way into her lungs and blocked a blood vessel.

Investigators believe 44-year-old Nitica Deonte Lee recklessly caused Phillips’ death.

She faces a charge in St. Louis County of first-degree involuntary manslaughter. Her bond will be set at $200,000.

A spokesperson from the St. Louis County prosecuting attorney’s office says a warrant has been issued, but as of Tuesday, Lee had not been arrested.

The only address police have for Lee is a south Dallas home on Havana Street. When FOX 4 visited, no one answered the door, and neighbors said Lee no longer lives there.

Dallas police say department records show officers have handled incidents involving Lee 26 times.

Phillips was an exotic dancer in the St. Louis area. She also went by the name Milani.

The Edmundson, Mo. police department tells FOX 4 that Phillips met the suspect in a hotel room near the St. Louis airport to get the injections.

Investigators have not said how the Dallas woman became connected with Phillips.

Denise “Wee Wee” Ross and Jimmy “Alicia” Clark are charged with murder for the death of Wykesha Reid in February.
