A sports bar employee is recovering after being shot during an attempted robbery early Friday.
Two men tried to hold up Little Woodrow's on Ross Avenue in East Dallas near downtown just before 2 a.m.
An employee pulled out his gun when he saw the attempt and a gun battle ensued, with the employee getting shot in the leg and one of the suspects apparently getting shot in the buttocks.
A customer still at the bar suffered cuts from glass and was taken to the hospital by a friend.
Officers were later sent to an incident in south Dallas and a person was found with a gunshot wound in his buttocks. Police wouldn’t confirm if the man was the same person involved in the attempted robbery, but the possibility is being investigated.
Police believe the two men who tried to hold up Little Woodrow’s may be the same men who have held up several other businesses in the area.
