Dallas police officer arrested on family violence charge
A Dallas police officer was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault – family violence.
DPD Senior Corporal Tyler Prothro is facing a class A misdemeanor. He is currently assigned to the Southeast Patrol Division and is a 7-year veteran of the department.
Details of the incident have not been released.
Prothro was placed on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
